Tejas is a development professional with more than 7 years of experience in the WASH sector in India. As a consultant with UNICEF India, Tejas has worked with government and social sector organizations in different domains of WASH focusing on social and behavior change communication, WASH action plans, and mainstreaming disaster and climate resilience in WASH programs. A civil engineer and a rural manager by qualification, Tejas blends both experiences and provides technical support pertaining to flagship WASH programs and additionally holds a professional diploma in Humanitarian WASH from IHE Delft. Tejas’s areas of interest include research on water-energy-agriculture nexus and gender transformative WASH policy and advocacy.
